Your Reproductive Endocrinologist referred you because I have a specialty in supporting people who build their families through assisted reproduction. You have decided (or are considering information) on donor conception. Having children with donor gametes (egg or sperm or embryo) is another method of family building. Frequently, people who use a donor have typical questions about the process that have very little to do with the medical components. Your doctor is helping in assisting you with creating a family with a range of medical procedures. His or her expertise is in medical technology and taking care of your physical health. She or he does not specialize in the psychological factors related to alternative family building, so you were referred to me to assist in that area. My practice is inclusive and supportive. I welcome individuals and couples regardless of relationship status, sexual orientation, disability status, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, neurodiversity, and gender identity.

The goal of this consultation is to provide you with information specific to family building with donor gametes so that you can navigate this process with calm and confidence and have a place where you can ask whatever questions you may have about your future family. The goal of our meeting is to help you make the most informed choices possible and to reduce any concerns you may have.
