Dr. Kristen Chambliss – Infertility and In Vitro Fertilization Counselor
Dr. Kristen Chambliss is a licensed psychologist specializing in treating individuals coping with infertility, in vitro fertilization, relationship concerns, and anxiety. She currently practices in Friendswood, Texas.
Following training at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas Medical Branch, the Southwest Cancer Treatment and Research Center, and the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, Dr. Chambliss entered private practice to better meet the needs of individuals and couples she serves.
Dr. Chambliss is trained in the newest, most cutting edge therapy techniques based on the most recent advances in research. In addition to being a skilled therapist in helping individuals coping with reproductive health, anxiety, and relationship concerns, she has presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of reproductive health, cancer, and anxiety.

Training
Dr. Chambliss is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. Her training including cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal therapy approaches.
Dr. Chambliss has been an active advocate for mental health care access, having been featured on Houston’s KPRC Channel 2 News during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the past, she has been featured in Houston Family Magazine to discuss parenting and infertility struggles. She also volunteers during crisis situations with the Texas Psychological Association’s Pro-Bono Disaster Relief Network.
